This is the picture on my original site. It was taken by a Hewlit Packard employee with HP's first home digital camera for possible marketing use. I originally used it as a temporary placeholder for a serious digital picture when such became available, but since my student reaction was appropriate I kept it. The picture displays a much younger me with a live bull snake around my neck.
